2011 Photo a day Challenge

I took a stab at taking a photo a day everyday for 2011 following a bit of a new years resolution to learn more about photography and a new DSLR i had bought. I was doing well until about September, when I started to loose my creativity and desire and only took a photo every 2 - 4 days or so.

What I learn’t in that amount of time was amazing though. Forcing myself to think constantly everyday about my camera, composition and lighting worked a treat. I couldn’t have learn’t what I did so quickly if I hadn’t done this - So, I’ve decided to take the challenge again in 2012 - and hopefully this time, see the year through.

These two pics above are a couple of my favourites for the year. Taking photos of people has to have been the major highlight for me. I love capturing small moments when people are being themselves.
